Your first pet. Your first car. Your first love. In this case, my first blog posting in the sports media world. I might look back at this as a historical turning point in my life. I may also look back at this moment and just shake my head in disgust. Either way, I will stay in the moment and enjoy this for however long this lasts.
I would introduce myself as an average guy who lives an average life while having a complete and unreasonable obsession with college and pro football. Alabama vs Georgia excites me, but Western Kentucky vs Eastern Kentucky gives me Ryan Day nipples. For those who resonate with that statement, I am here for you. I hope to connect with fellow football freaks as I dive into teams, players, and topics that would otherwise be overlooked.
Keeping this first post shorter than Urban Meyer’s Jaguars reign is probably the way to go. I will get better with time. Week 1 will look much different than week 12. Hopefully the committee sees it the same way.
