Before the playoff action began, style took center stage around the league. From polished winter layers to head-to-toe team gear and creative cold-weather statements, players brought confidence and personality to stadium entrances across the NFL.
Facing the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round, Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts opted for all-black in his attire. He wore a puffer vest over a long sleeve with a similarly dark colored duffel and toiletry bag in his hands.
Ahead of the Buffalo Bills-Jacksonville Jaguars matchup, Jaguars center Robert Hainsey arrived wearing a black graphic T-shirt that read “Small Market, Big Boys,” featuring a montage of Trevor Lawrence and members of the offensive line. The “small market” phrase was a nod to Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton, who referred to the Jaguars as a “smaller market” team ahead of their Week 16 matchup.
Hainsey paired the tee with a backpack and a Jaguars baseball cap that read “Beware! Now entering Duuuval,” a rallying cry referencing Duval County, where the team plays. He finished the look with a watch — plus a thumbs-up and a smile.
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers both seemed to be rocking cowboy-inspired looks before Saturday night’s game, with Jaylon Johnson making a statement in all red and Edgerrin Cooper going with a more down to earth ensemble.
The Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers opened the postseason with standout looks by Bryce Young and Puka Nacua that set the tone.
The calendar has flipped to January and the NFL has flipped to playoff mode.
Here are the most stylish arrivals from around the league during wild-card weekend.
